- The biggest advantage of this heated bed is that it runs of 220V electricity. This means you can run it directly off the main power and do not need to run it through a power supply. A relay can be used to switch the heated bed on and off and the relay is controlled by the heated bed output from the controller board. This silicone heated bed comes with 3M 468MP adhesive on the one side to mount it to a solid aluminium plate. It also has an integrated 100K NTC thermistor for temperature measurement and control.
This is a extra large size silicone heated bed of 500 x 500mm. A heated bed is used to increase the adhesion of the part to the building surface and decrease warping during printing.
